There may be an issue with the temperature control switch, relay, or vacume solinoid.

Answer 2/3 - Submitted 7/9/2011

Its likely a control module or a defective heater door , try putting a pair of long nose
vise grips on one of the heater hoses , cutting off the hot water to the heater core,
and see if it cools off , if so , you know why.

Answer 3/3 - Submitted 7/10/2011

Specific information is required to be able to provide useful information about AC faults.

With A/C compressor running at idle for 5 minutes, what are the high and low pressure reading on the service gauges?

What is the temperature of the suction and discharge lines at the compressor after the same period of time?

Are the condenser fans blowing?

Usually on this year and model car we find the compressor is actually not coming on. It may come on for a minute then the clutch turns off due to a failed relay in the intelligent power distribution module or a faulty compressor clutch.

Recheck your facts.
